The Israel-based company* develops an AI platform that analyses sports broadcasts and creates customized short videos with game highlights.

• We were to test a custom video player for sports games on different screens, desktop browsers, and mobile platforms. One of the main features to analyze was the choice of video categories based on players and teams.
• The client came with a specific and clearly defined request: to check the functionality of the maximum number of widely-used devices.
• The team had completed the following tasks:
  • Get familiar with the product.
  • Study the designs.
  • Create a checklist.

Our team created a checklist with features to test, actions for QA engineers to perform, environments to pay attention to, and devices to use. Then, the tasks were divided between QA engineers with different devices, and the testing process started. We noted down the results received for each step in the abovementioned checklist.

Because of the large number of devices and tight project deadlines, the best strategy was to involve all free QA engineers to complete the project as quickly as possible. Functional and UI testing were based on the abovementioned checklist.
