QA Madness Stands With Ukraine!

Reading Time: 2 minutes

On February 24, at 5 am, the Russian army, backed with the support of Belarusian authorities, started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. People in many cities woke up to the sounds of explosions.

QA Madness condemns the actions of the Russian government. Ukraine is an independent sovereign country with its own rich culture, language, and history. Russia’s violent effort to claim otherwise has no reason.

We urge the Russian leaders to immediately stop their unprovoked campaign of violence. We ask governments, businesses, and people from around the world to raise their voices and take action to help all those affected.

QA Madness is a company headquartered in Lithuania, which was a part of the long-gone USSR. People there still remember what it is like to live under totalitarian rule – in an environment where citizens are deprived of basic human rights, such as safety and freedom. For QA Madness, however, Russia’s war against Ukraine is more than an encroachment on democratic values. It is a personal tragedy.

Many of our specialists are located in Ukraine. The safety of each and every person in the QA Madness team is our priority. We have been staying in touch for the latest 128 hours and counting to get updates on everyone’s situation and condition. So far, everyone is staying safe – as much as one can, given the circumstances.

The majority of the QA Madness team is able to work remotely. Also, people in safe zones are volunteering – supplying the defense forces with the necessary things, connecting those who need help with those who can provide it, making blood donations, joining the digital army, fighting misinformation, and spreading messages to inform the global community.

QA Madness as a company is taking action to protect and support our team and Ukrainian people, in particular:

  • Support the team. Regardless of the ability to work at the moment, all team members will receive regular compensation. All the jobs are secured.
  • Assistance with relocation. All those willing to relocate to the western part of the country or abroad can receive the necessary assistance and have been informed about it.
  • Humanitarian aid. We support the communities locally and contribute to organizations that provide help in the frontline zones.

QA Madness is against any manifestation of injustice or aggression. We are against spreading hate towards Russian or Belorussian people. We also believe that peace in all the cities of Ukraine will be restored soon thanks to the heroic effort of the Ukrainian military forces, the unity of the Ukrainian nation, and international support.

We stand for justice, freedom, and democracy of the Ukrainian Nation and the whole Europe.
