Automated Testing

4 Reasons to Say “Yes” to Automated Testing

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Automated testing is a method in software testing which implies usage of special tools and applications to control the execution of software tests. It is supposed to be more reliable than manual testing since it’s carried out automatically. But, obviously, making the life of a QA engineer easier is not the only mission of software automation testing services. Let’s see what other benefits this method has.

The reduction of costs

Probably, you won’t notice this immediately, as this benefit gets evident when you use automated tests more than once. Just imagine: every time you want to test the quality of your software and fix all the bugs, your QA team has to do the testing manually.

That’s not the easiest work to do, and it requires the most expensive resource in the world – time. But if your team uses those automated tests which had already been written, you won’t have to pay for development of new tests or for remote independent testing. Just use what you already have, and that’s it.

The tests are performed faster

We have already told you that manual testing requires more time. Automated tests will give you the result much faster, so your product will be ready sooner.

The team doesn’t waste the time

While automated tests are performed, your QA team can spend their time on those parts of your software product that require manual testing. The department will work more efficiently since they won’t have to do the same things again and again – this stuff will be covered by automated testing.

The quality gets higher

We don’t question the experience of your QA department, but everybody makes mistakes. Automated testing allows to minimize the risks and avoid potential failures.

We don’t say that automated testing is a panacea for all the possible bugs. It also won’t immediately turn your product into the most demanding thing in the world. But this method can significantly increase the product’s quality and save your time and budget.

So why not?

If you are ready to implement automated testing into your project, you need to choose a reliable vendor. Check QA Madness on DesignRush or contact us to discuss details.
